Paneward Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Paneward browser extension (together, "Paneward"), provided by bhavik.id ("we"). By installing or using Paneward you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Paneward.

1. What Paneward is

Paneward places a privacy curtain over your normal web pages until you unlock it. Paneward is designed to prevent casual access to your normal web browsing session when you step away. It is not a replacement for your operating system's user account or screen lock. It does not protect Chrome's own pages, and anyone with access to your computer can disable or remove browser extensions. See the known limitations at https://paneward.bhavik.id/support/.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Paneward for its intended purpose. You may not resell Paneward, misrepresent its origin, or use it to break the law or to harm others.

3. Your responsibilities

• Keep your password or PIN and your recovery key safe. We cannot recover them: we never receive them.
• Use your operating system's screen lock and account security for real device security.
• Use Paneward only on devices and browser profiles you are allowed to manage.

4. Free service and availability

Paneward is provided free of charge. We may update, change or discontinue it.

5. No warranty

Paneward is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Paneward will prevent every form of access to your browser or data.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, privacy, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, Paneward. Our total liability for any claim relating to Paneward is limited to the amount you paid for it (which is zero).

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy (https://paneward.bhavik.id/privacy/) explains what data Paneward handles. It is part of these terms.

8. Third-party services

Paneward is distributed through the Chrome Web Store and runs in Google Chrome or other Chromium-based browsers; your use of those is governed by their own terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and publish the new version at https://paneward.bhavik.id/terms/. Continuing to use Paneward after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India have jurisdiction, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
